Pole Barn Posts

Traditionally pole barns are built with solid poles for columns. That means pressure treated poles dropped in the ground. CPS pole barn posts come precut to your design. They slot into CPS brackets to be kept free from decay. Because they are anchored firmly to a real concrete pier you can lay them flat on the ground and frame on the ground. Our brackets with the ez-mount system are so accurate that your walls are ultra straight. Additionally our columns are notched at the top to receive your trusses. This makes for easy installation and a design that is stronger than any other available.

CPS columns are custom cut to the pitch of your building and trusses slot into the top of the column making a strong solid connection.

CPS columns are typically built of 3 2x8s that are screwed together. This is stronger than a single solid piece of lumber and will not twist or split.

Framing on the Ground with Pole Barn Posts

Our system allows you to frame the walls on the ground and lift them into place. It is safer, faster, and requires less labor. It allows you to make fine adjustments to the posts squaring and placement. Just lift them into place and bolt them to the solid force bracket. Done.

The Best Way to Bolt Your Pole Barn Poles to a Foundation Bracket

Some people think attaching your columns to your bracket with two bolts in a line is the best idea. However, the CPS Pole Barn Kit was designed by engineers that created an offset hole system to prevent splitting down the center of your column.
